I play malzahar but enemy team picked malzahar so i dodged
i was punished with 5 minute queue penalty, fine for me
i get into my next game, enemy gets malzahar before me again so i dodge
i have to wait 30 minutes wtf? shouldnt it be from 5 min to 10 or 15 min then 20 and then 30??
dunder kill1 votesThat seems about right. You get punished the more frequently you decide to waste everyone elses' time. Remember that you dodging just wasted 9 other people's time. I do not suggest dodging again anytime soon if you think 30 minutes is bad

I think the new system is a bit wonky. I remember looking it up and Riot said it's supposed to be somethng like 5 minutes first time in normals, 6 minutes ranked, then it jumps up to 15 if you dodge again shortly after then 30 and it keeps escalating.
Of course sometimes the system gets wonky as on two occassions I have been hit with a 15 minute timer on just one dodge, no dodges or even leaves in the days before that and even though I posted on here, no one had a good explanation.
Have you dodged at all hours or even a day or two before?

it does suck, but they want to discourage dodging. luckily though, they are a lot more lenient than with leaverbuster, so it auto resets after 16 hours (for most people, that would be sleep + work/school anyway)
