a 9mm can shoot up to give or take 6600 ft.

a flamethrower can shoot 50 yards or 46 meters.

We ARE talking about a game. Also there is a HUGE difference at being able to 'shoot that far' and being able to hit something that far. Annie summons a magical golem version of her bear... EVERYONE'S logic is invalid, especially comparing Annie's AA to a flame thrower.
