Dynamic Queue is hurting EVERYONE...

Even before season six I had enjoyed playing ranked with a single friend, just one. He and I would commonly play the game together in whatever lane we chose to go and it would be pretty ok. Even when one or the other do bad we still enjoyed playing to some degree and would try to reduce toxicity in games when we could. (I have some anger issues from a while back still lingering so I am trying to control that more, a lot better than 4 years ago though) The problem is, now that Dynamic Queue is the norm and people are getting mad at it, people start attacking Duoss too. I get it that some people even wanted duos removed but when two people are playing together and just want to have fun, they should not be attacked for not having LCS communication... with one other person.... Here is an example of what happened.

(I was playing malphite top and my friend was Xin jungle. He was still getting into jungle so he wasn't the best. I was failing pretty bad against a cho'gath so I asked for my friend to gank, long story short, we failed and Cho lived with 200 hp. This was around level 8 or ninr and cho had 2 or 3 kills already. Yasuo was on his way top from mid and was able to kill Cho.)

Malphite Thanks Yasuo. XinZhao Ty yas. Yasuo Well I had to do something because your duo couldn't.

Now, I'm not saying that this was too terrible or anything, but the fact that we had done nothing toxic the entire match, especially towards him, and even told a few jokes in hopes of lightening the mood, is what lead me to get annoyed by this. I didn't respond really, maybe a "..." but my friend did and it didn't take long for us to realize that he didn't care, he had become toxic towards us for no reason at all.

In the end we won the match, (I was 7/6/12, my friend went 5/10/7, and yas went 15/11/7) but the fact is Yasuo never responded to us in chat afterwards, even when we congratulated him on good plays. This wasn't the only time I got a bad vibe from people because I was in a duo, but it had never happened before dynamic queue. Though this was one of the worse situations, they are progressively getting worse, and it saddens me. My and my friend just want to play the game and have fun and do our best to Lux stay positive, but when people on our team look at us with a bad attitude from the start because we are a duo, how do we stop them from tilting?

Just remove dynamic queue already, they made this system to fuck over solo players, and now they make this emblem thing that fuck over dynamic queue players, the entire playerbase of ranked is getting fucked.

The reason no one called you on it before was because you didnt share a club tag.

I have ALWAYS hated when duos feed and nearly always call them on it when I know they're a duo. Duo+ have always been cancer in Solo Q.

Can you blame solo player though? Our queue system was removed because dynamics didn't want to get 5 people together for 5's and now that solo queue is gone they tell us to "get friends to play with". Kind of ironic. Plus with the handicaps in place, you can really drag your team down if you dynamic and can't do well. Point is, we didn't sign up for this so there will be resentment.

I don't think saying "EVERYONE" is correct. I went 500 games into this season before realizing that people had a problem with it. I haven't noticed any difference in matchmaking from last season. However, since I really can't have an opinion on it considering its never affected me, I suppose I wouldn't really care if its here or gone. I will say however, no one talks about getting a nice premade that helped them untilt, or win a game, they only talk about the times where it hinders them. If it hinders them once, they instantly start to hate on the system. Thats why I think that the issue has been blown out of the water. Unpopular opinion I know, but the people who don't really care about dynamic queue are the silent ones, because they have no real reason to talk about the subject.

People don't like Duo's for a couple of reasons, it gives them tougher opponents then it normally would and solo players hate dynamic q. Although at this point, ranked is just as bad as normal games now. I don't think it really matters anymore.

I feel for you OP, and you definitely look like a nice guy, the kind of guy I'd like in my teams.

But you're spreading the wrong message, by saying that "DQ is hurting everyone". What is hurting you right now, it's not DQ, it's ass-hole players who happen to dislike DQ. And I'm pretty sure they were not turned into ass-holes by the existence of DQ. They would probably find another reason to be like that even if DQ did not exist.

Support DQ, embrace it, and report the toxic players.

On a tangential topic: you mention that your duo was still learning Jungle. Was it in Ranked? You shouldn't learn new things in Ranked, you know, there are Normals for that ;) And if it wasn't in Ranked, then it was always possible to go in Normals queuing as 3, 4, 5 people. So it's even less related to DQ.

I mean aren't most complaints about "boosted animals"?

Wouldn't those complaints apply to duos as well?
