"Winrate is the biggest indicator of how strong champions are..."

Rumble 46.3% winrate - crushes malphite, jax, gangplank, and shen given a good enough player, can easily do most damage on team given a dmg build, decides teamfights on even teams

Orianna 45.9% winrate - Can bully lane/decide teamfights, can single-handedly win teamfights with a good Command:Shockwave, blows up most opposing laners, etc.

(Comment other's you notice! I am just a rumble/orianna main that wanted to share my eperience :D)

Winrate alone means just as much as that singular Yorick game in Korean's Challenger.

In most, if not all threads, it's about the correlation between win ratio and pick ratio. Now, if a good quarter of the community plays a champion and they rack an average winrate of 60%, then we have a problem.

that is also very true

"random anecdote"

see win rate doesnt matter

Who the eff says this? Winrate by itself is useless as a stat.

I've seen some people here and there, but most of the time they are shot down, just making a point for anyone who doesn't pay attention.

Winrate is literally the most used go-to excuse that the mass majority of the community immediately jumps on. Especially when they don't have any other argument or they've already been proven wrong. I literally can't take 2 steps without another poster relying on winrate propaganda, I'm amazed you haven't noticed the infestation.

Sachabot3 votes

Oh. I don't give shit about anyone who uses winrate by itself, so it's more that I don't care enough to pay attention longer than it take to rebut and downvote.

Rumble and Orianna are also some of the most difficult characters to use. Those two, Azir, Ryze and probably Yasuo and Lee Sin SHOULD always have a fairly low winrate on average, but a quite high spike in winrate with games played. Which is true for most of them.

StealthyWolf521 votes

yeah, I guess that is fair, I just guess I haven't noticed because I have over 100 games on each, or so it feels like that.

well i play a bit off ori on the side and she is really tricky to play and she hasn't got a 100 0 combo + she needs to benefit from team comp to be 100 percent effective in my oppinion

StealthyWolf521 votes

it's situational but I have gotten many 100-0 hits on certain squishies, usually a Q-W-E-Q combo, but still, minor chase for a kill, sometimes no chase.

HamerDrunk1 votes

what does E do in that combo and still you need to hit 2 Q's witch is pretty hard if they have some skill its not like zed or talon or fizz not even like lux if she hits here snare and follow's up you prob dead if you're squishy still i like to play her a lot only if you play in hectic tf its hard to keep you're eye on the ball and on youreself without loosing track of things

How about a q + r + w + q. Orianna is my most played mid laner and this is what I do if I need to one shot someone. You can also throw in an e if you need to get a bit of extra damage.

StealthyWolf521 votes

I just don't like using the R if i dont have to, many times i have picked someone off w/o R, or at least poked them out, and the R saved or turned a teamfight.

Restless Slumber1 votes

Yea. But if you want to do a 100-0 without being insanely fed you kind of need it.

Sometimes yeah, othertimes a few AA's and ignite do it for you and R for 4v5 fight, but it is all situational we could theorycraft forever.

Its all about style of play, your ball gets behind them and you use E on self to do a little bit of damage to them, get a shield, and have a better idea of where the ball is to do the next Q, late gameQ are eas to pll off and sometimes an R can be useful to get a priority target, otherwise I save it for teamfights

thanks a cazzilion didn't know that the E if passed tru enemy's did damage i really need to learn more on ori but i love her playstyle i'm not really the best in mid lane and my killer instinct isn't Always there either

just takes some time and practice :)

IDK plat+ when people are competent seems like accurate win rates on championgg.

Either way i'm happy for my incoming rumble buff <3

LeeSin can still dominate early, and kick the tank dealing 10k damage to the rest of the team, while being uncatchable due to ward hopping.

Athenes Lulu1 votes

Jhin 46.3% winrate: botlane becomes deadly when he and his support are smart, otherwise he is "garbage". Maybe I should add "learning curve" as a part of that too, since his WR used to be a lot worse.

Lulu 48.2% winrate: a very team-dependent champ, no matter which lane she goes... I mean, a debuff support can only do so much. Support also has shit WR because of the reason above, and that her support playstyle is so unpopular that you can't tell your typical LoL player to make it effective as a support.

Am I doing it right?
