Genuine speculation/questions about dragons

I'm a jungle main that had been slowly transitioning to ADC. But ever since the dragons changed, I've come back to jungling, because I feel the first team to 3 or 4 dragons wins. I don't even know that it matters WHICH dragons that team gets. Have you guys noticed this? Chime in! But let's keep it constructive. The amount of bitching on the boards lately is crazy.

It really depends on the first dragon. In pretty much every game I play now if the first dragon is something good like water or fire then the whole game focuses on the dragon pit with both teams trying to get them. If the first one is wind or earth then both teams just kind of ignore it taking other objectives around the map if they can. These play styles can switch in a single game though if say the next dragon after the first is a wind or someone finally decides to sneak the first wind dragon like 25 min in and the next is a fire.

When RNGesus is favorable then yes the dragons are everything, when he isn't then the game revolves more around towers, herald and baron.

I'll play with that mentality towards Dragon and see how I like it.personally, I love air dragons my adc because free move speed equals self peel. Love it on immobile adc. And earth makes your team chunk towers, and makes your smite do more damage. Personally I think they're both incredibly powerful in their own right, but I'll play around with it.

The wind dragon unfortunately only gives the movespeed out of combat so no self peel sadly. If it was permanent move speed then it would be way more contested.

I do like the earth dragons aspect of true damage to objectives (smite no longer gonna be buffed by it in 6.10 sadly), its not a bad buff but compared to fire or water its simply to situational. Unlike more dmg or more sustain, true dmg to objectives is only really useful in certain situations. If you ace a team you are going to be taking objectives anyways so its mostly used to sneak baron or dragon or to split push.

Well you just taught me a few things. Lol. Seems like champions like Udyr, tryn, and trundle will really like air and mountain. Otherwise maybe they are negligible
