Thank you. You play a thankless role that is often blamed for losses and poor positioning. Thank you for the vision, the shields, the heals, the peel. Sacrificing yourself to the enemy team because I got caught out. Thank you for doing it game after game. We need more support mains. And we need to thank them more. I've had a string of great supports lately, and I realized I never appreciated the good ones enough, and was too hard on the bad ones, even though I often play poorly also. So one last time, thank you!

EDIT The fact that I'm getting flamed for this post exemplifies why we need more positivity out there.

You play a role defined by consistency, where you have only mistakes to make, and no high points of your own. You play a thankless job, full of hollow glory, with every kill you are given belonging to someone else,

and you do it, because someone has to bring the damages.

I don't get this need some support players have to feel appreciated.

I'm a support main, mid plat atm, and I can't remember the last time anyone said thank you or any such thing to me. However, I can't remember the last time I thanked anyone else for playing their role well either.

That's because it doesn't happen very often for any role.

The only thing I need from a game is a win, I don't care if my whole team tells me to drink bleach the entire game as long as we win the game. People are so noncompetitive it's ridiculous.

Thanks! Lord knows how much I appreciate good ADCs, they make a world of difference. The difference between a 5-3-15 support main and a 0-3-20 support main is a good ADC!

I still dont get this "Support is always flamed" thing.

When I play support, which is pretty frequently, I almost never get flamed. I actually get complimented the most out of all the other role. Sure, there is the occasional ADC that flames the support, but I also see Supports flame the ADC just as much. Maybe you dont see it if support is your main role because you're always the support.

Hands down the most flamed role is the Jungler. Everything is almost always the "Jungler's fault".

I mean support is the easiest role in the game technically, but yeah it's nice to have a good support every once in a while

With all the autofilled supports lately it makes me so happy when I get an actual support main.

The difference a good support makes is insane. Support is my primary role and I'd say I do well (minus juggling actives, I prefer to go for raw stats because I can never get into the habit of using them). But sometimes when I adc, I get a support who plays everything perfectly and just hands me kills. Plus I've had the other end of the spectrum, where my support repeatedly gets me killed with fake engages and held morg shields. I make sure to honor every support that gets me fed and keeps me alive in a game. I would say though that supports don't get flamed all that much. When I support I get the occasional bitch vayne that pings my every move, but for the most part it's just a friendly cooperation. Junglers though, they get flamed for EVERYTHING.

just had a rakan game, enemy jungler came, my e was up, guess what, my adc who was playing lucian, he was in a safe spot and will not be in risk even if he just walk a little foward for me to dash , but guess what, he ran, so, **** those selfish @ss adc players.
