Homeguards needs buffs.

no,

it is built in every game, the most out of any boot enchant.

The point is not to make ALL of them stronger, it is to even it out to make the choice of "What enchantment do I need" more complex than "Am I Singed? Annie? No? Homeguards. Oh, what? We are stomping and have no need to defend the base? I guess I just wont buy an enchant yet."

Homeguards have zero combat usefulness, the moment you walk past your T3s or someone sneezes on you, it's a wasted 475g.

You get knocked out of a teamfight in your base. Step onto the fountain, get full HP instantly and rejoin your allies within seconds. Without homeguards, this would take several times as long.

Is someone pushing a warded lane? Anyone with TP and Homeguards is aroused

Someone trying to finish off your base? Get your ass back to base and homeguards onto their ass. If you didn't have that speed boost, you would have just lost your nexus.

Is a teamfight breaking out at your T2 tower in botlane while you, the ADC, are splitting top? Recall and homeguards your way over to that fight in time to be useful. Without that little white emblem, you would have just lost that fight utterly.

So beyond a couple gimmicks (using summoner spells with similar cooldown to flash) HGs is absolute pointless in combat.

Besides ganks, getting to lanes faster, getting to fights faster, synergy with champion kits, and keeping your base from being destroyed.

"Why would I buy wards? They don't help me in combat!" "Annie has zero engage. Without using her flash, she can't do anything!"

Homeguards provide a meaningful buff, which is amazing at defending but when combined with other abilities can be used offensively. Meanwhile, Alacrity is incredibly inefficient, distortion is worthless unless you are either Annie or Singed, captains only help allies moving towards you, and furor boots, while they have their uses, are not worth buying on champions who are not ADC's or Light Carries.

Homeguards unchanged? Alright.

That would be a nerf to furor, 12% usually means 36 speed at least, excluding boots and such.

Distortion? I can see that working out.

Captain? Again, a nerf if they aren't moving towards you. 30 speed is still more than 15.

Alacrity? I think we should keep it as is. The current suggestion is an entirely new enchantment, and alacrity currently is just reliable movement speed, which is perfectly fine.
