I beat platinum and silver players mid lane with mechanics (customs and norms with higher elo friends), but i am disrespected because people think being bronze means I'm stupid. I just did it too early when i had no map awareness. But now I'm discouraged from trying.

Today i literally had to dodge ranked because some asshole banned lux when the lux player just said he was lux m7, and i think they just meant that "hey i got this guys" yet another player bans them for being "rude" - this kind of stuff, isn't ok. It's like people forget that in ranked, the win is important esp if you are climbing and not in provisionals.

This kind of stuff upsets me, I'm just wondering if there is a mindset I need to really not hold back, I spend way too much time watching and then practicing pro plays, learning the map, having higher elo friends beat the shit out of me or help me, so I really need to know any tips. Otherwise I stick to hitman, where I'm ranked platinum, because I don't get the feedback I get on here in games.

Any thoughts? Any mindsets that help you? Or do i just need more ranked games? I think my account has too many bad memories but I wanted to climb out of bronze before touching my other account (its just lvl 18 for now)

I think that's a lot of what keeps bronze players from improving

If you never risk anything you're not or only very slowly gaining

There are two things that I live by. The beginning of Wisdom is "I do not know", and Fear is the basis for all Mediocrity.

If you do not try, you will not advance. If you try, you will fail. If you fail, you will learn. If you learn, you will improve. If you improve, you will succeed. It is okay to be afraid of "it", wether its failure or just not getting where you want to be. Just don't let that fear define you and prevent you from learning and improving. That is the only way you can truly fail.
