I play support or simply fill quite often. About every 5th game or so is support so how is it, that out of everyone on the team it's me that gets auto filled, makes no fucking sense, riot. Fuck your shitty system.

Yeah even tho I shouldn't be. I play support so often, no way should it be that when I'm trying to play another role I wind up back in that shitty role.

This system is put into place so that people do not have to suffer the massive long queue times like they did in S6 and also atleast you don't have to go through the S5 system where you had no say in the matter of what role you went into.

Yeah but I think most people would rather wait 20 minutes to get the role they want than to wait 3 minutes and play a role they have no clue about.

The point of autofill isn't solely for supports, its for every single role. No matter u main mid, top, jg, supp, adc you will be autofilled to whatever is needed. You as support sometimes you will be autofilled, you queue top sometimes you will be autofilled supp. Its a feature that we can all get behind for the ability to choose our roles instead of pick order. No one wants to go back to a system where the last person of pick is support, that is way worse then every once and a while you have to play a different role.

Ok, you bought Yasuo and you are ready for your first ranked game. You queue up mid/top.

See those two numbers on the right, above chat? The big one is the actual time (ACT) spent in queue, and the small one is an estimate (ETA) of how long you should expect to wait.

Now, whenever ACT > ETA, you STOP the queue and queue up again.

Enjoy no autofill 99.5% of the time. :^)

PS: I do this when I don't feel like playing support, and don't mind waiting 5+ minutes (can be A LOT more) extra for my role..
