@Riot Changing surrender time to 15 mins

They should change the surrender time to 15 mins instead of 20 mins. This would help waste less time in not only 4v5 but also when one team gets facerolled hard. I mean I can't tell you how many times people have typed "open mid" or "push down mid" in all chat when the game pretty much over. I think this is a good indicator that waiting 20 mins to surrender is to long, besides 15 mins is more then enough time to judge if a game is over or not.

PS: I think this would make the game less toxic by allowing people to just move on to the next game, instead of blaming each other and rage quitting. I mean sometimes you just don't have any synergy with your teammates and its better to end it sooner then later.

Edit: If possible I would really like to hear Riots opinion on this matter. If there is a specific reason its 20 mins and if they would be willing to ever change it.

Maybe if you have an afk/dc that was got for a certain amount of time, but 15 minutes in general sucks; that is not enough time to determine you can't win in most cases; people give up too easily already, and throw games for insignificant leads. If you surrendered less, you'd win more games and be a higher rank.

Sorry but no one will just surrender because of "4v5" people already spam surrender votes at such an obnoxious rate and give up way too easily. So many times have i seen people saying "gg" as soon as the enemy gets first blood or "i'm done" as soon as they die or even "gg trash X lane" when that lane is even slightly behind. Surrendering early isn't going to solve people being toxic it will just create even more toxic environments since people will whine and moan about "unwinnable games" and about being complete asses when you don't get an early lead.

Having the surrender time decrease when the game detects an AFK i can agree and can support but as the norm? sorry but no
