Teamfighting: Akali is an assassin, so you don't want to bring her into team fights. Anivia beats Akali in this regard with her AOE CC and Ult, as well as zoning control. Dueling: Anivia can outright chunk people for over half their health. However, she's better for small skirmishes. Akali does the same thing, but a lot less safer; however, Anivia has a higher skill cap (landing the slow projectile). Late Game: Anivia shines, Akali isn't very good. Fun: Akali if you want to steamroll noobs... I personally like Anivia more. Fun is subjective. Skillcap: Akali: Only have to regulate the usage of E.
