jayce can poke and make some better plays, rengar can delete adcs/mids a lot easier.

It's actually a toss-up. A good Jayce is a proper nightmare and can function in every lane. His 1v1s generally involve a lot of thought and can go either way unless you're up against someone like Vladimir or Zed, in which case glhf.

Rengar is an assassin, but he's actually a strong duelist if built right, with one of the highest AS buffs in the game. It also has an AD multiplier. He can either dedicate to 100-0ing ADCs in 0.1 seconds late game, or take more of a bruiser role, taking only 2 seconds to kill the ADC instead, and being able to take down most non-duelists when caught out. He's great for snowballing and cleaning up after teamfights, and he is strong all game

And WHY would someone downvote a thread asking for help? Just why

Just one question, hows jayces late game.

It's good, but it's been better. (W nerfed from 130% to 110% AD) He gets a 110% AD multiplier per auto with his ranged W (which is amplified by crit, making infinity edge 275% AD instead. POWERFUL), he's got a 20% max health smack on a pretty low cooldown which gives him damage even when not building very much, and his poke during siege is always super strong. He's a good duelist, if a bit tricky to play sometimes.

His engage for his team is deceptively powerful, you can basically get your whole team to escape or engage with it. Feels like an ult at times.

Just know he's one of the most versatile champions in the game, and kind of obnoxious to play against sometimes lol

Last thing who should i get if i want to be able to box, assist the team in a lot in team-fights late-game with survivability. Right now im leaning towards jayce, but ive been iffy about the situation for 2 days now so i want to just get one as a champ. This is miscellaneous but if i do get jayce do you prefer full metal or forsaken?

Rengar is a pretty savage champion, and at times he can be very overbearing for the enemy team. He's decently reliable, but he takes a bit of cunning. He can get decently survivable mid-game if he buys item 3071, and most Rengars get a SV and Randuin's late game. His W has healing based on missing health, and gives him armor and MR the more champions it hits, so he likes to get into fights.

Jayce can do whatever he wants. He can tank, support, adc HE HAS THE TOOLS to do it all, and he does it with an outrageous amount of outplay potential. If you devote time to Jayce, you'll see he's got all he needs to fight most champions and participate in teamfights; a gap closer that slows, high damage aoe poke, aoe MS boosts, high mixed damage, peel, even some insec potential, the works

He's not overpowered as far as I know, but he has a lot of potential. So does Rengar, mind you. They're both fun, so try them both out eventually
