Don't play ranked?

I recently got flamed in a game for playing Shaco jungle despite playing pretty well. One other team member said, "Why are you playing champs you have under 45% WR on this season, that's basically inting". I know that logic is nonsense, but it's kind of sat with me ever since.

I've played pretty well as Shaco in past seasons, but have struggled with him in the new meta - split pushing is much harder when you're all but guaranteed to face one unstoppable hypercarry or another. He's still by far my favorite champion to play though, and I prefer ranked because I've been apart of too many norms that people just haven't taken seriously.

Do I owe it to my team to play champions like Amumu, Ornn, Taric, etc. who I have a solid WR with this season, or is it okay to keep playing with the wide variety of champs? I don't pick champions that I have no experience with, but I like to make picks like Hecarim when the enemy team picks immobile champs, or Rumble when the rest of my team is heavy AD. I always take ranked seriously, but should I exclusively be playing high WR champs for the sake of my team?

I was called a “stupid idiot” by my Ivern because I forgot to get blue, before I got fed and he began to feed

Not really no, you will get farther playing champions you are good at rather then just filling in spots.

In my opinion, it REALLY doesn't matter if you're playing a champion you have a low win rate with, as long as you do just as well as someone you have a high win rate with. I never really take flame seriously. I make one misplay and then someone says to me, "fking idiot" I've gotten used to it. Just play what you want and play to win.
