WTF I WAS SILVER LAST SEASON AND IT PLACED ME BRONZE, BROKEN SYSTEM

I mean, it’s kinda shit unless I get a good explanation. I was silver 2 last season and today, after winning 8/10 placements I got placed in bronze 1. Falling down 3 ranks when winning 8/10 games is kinda annoying, don’t think I woulda gotten silver 2 if I’d won all of my games.

Isn’t the placements supposed to determine your skill level, or are they simply a way of putting people in elo hell and if they’re good enough they might climb out.

I was Plat IV last season, I roflstomped my first game and got placed in S2 [zombie-brand-mindblown]

i ended im gold 3 im kinda scared to figure out wher ill end up

Ended gold 4 last season just played first placement game. Won the game and went 7/4/5 got placed into bronze 2 T.T

Seems more drop then in past....Previously when i won 6+ games I was placed where I ended last season...this time If I win all I get whole tier lower rank(Gold V->Silver V) while with each win I get less and less LP so maybe even lower, then I end up in bronze I or silver V while getting 10 LP for win and -20 for lose(will be fun....)[slayer-jinx-unamused]

Ranked reset is the most stupid thing in this game since forever, and it's about time Riot stops doing that bullshit because there is no logical reason behind it. Period.
