@Riot What stage is the Yorick rework at?
In the comment I am linking Scruffy stated that Yorick's been picked up by the champion update team during this year's spring. My question is, what stage of Yorick rework is the assigned design team at? I was just about to post a rework concept thread with my own ideas, either to inspire you or the community. But if the team has already settled on a kit, there is no need for me to think up an entire set of abilities. Either way I'd love to know that the work on Yorick's rise from obscurity isn't forgotten.
By the way, if you are interested, here is a taste of the rework concept I wanted to share on boards:
Q – Spectre of Death (short cooldown) Yorick empowers his next attack with deathly magic, dealing bonus physical damage and stealing some life from the enemy if it hits a champion. If a minion is killed with the ability, a spectral ghoul_ is raised from the dead, which travels towards the nearest vulnerable enemy structure. When the_ ghoul_ reaches the structure, it sacrifices itself to deal damage to the building. The_ ghoul_ cannot be damaged by enemy minions or towers, but can be killed with a single basic attack from an enemy champion._
Context: First thing to note is that this ability was supposed to work with other abilities in the kit and serve as a keystone for the entire concept. It was meant to convey the identity of a relentless necromancer through almost spammable, yet not abusive raise-from-the-grave spell that would be used mainly for pushing, but also for self-sustain during a duel. Enemies wouldn't be hindered directly by the ghouls, but the spectres' inoxerable attacks would soon mean doom for the nearest tower (or even an inhibitor or nexus!) if ignored. In my opinion, the ability would retain Yorick's identity of a necromantic pusher, but also remove the problem of him being an annoying jerk to an enemy laner.
