ARAM Drama. Can we Please Stop Suggesting "Tear" to mages?

Everytime a mage on my team starts tear instead of lost chapter I die inside. Can we stop guiding newbies down the dark path plz.

I mean if you think about it, tear stacks faster in aram because it is 6 mana instead of 4 and at the same time, mages are more likely going to poke more often than normal and will need alot of mana to sustain as well as the shield when item 3040 is finished. Honestly 40 more AP isn't that much of a boost to cry about early on in my opinion.

Tear helps a ton for Mana Hungry champions. Sometimes, even Lost Chapter isn't enough.

And I used to hear a lot of people complain about me building old Chalice of Harmony and old Athene's, while they were actually broken...

There is huge difference between infinite Mana and some Mana with some Damage.

And do I even have to mention how good that Shield is from Archangel's for Mages? Not every Mage is a Lux who shoots lasers and stuff from 1k+ range and procs Luden's with ease.

Anyway, if you met me, you would actually die. But I guess you are lucky that I'm not on NA server. Or... am I? [sg-syndra]

its not like there is any other viable choice...

your kinda forced to. becuase rtiot seems to think mages should be forced to buy mana items but no other class in the game should ever run out of mana

like Irelia Q costs 20 mana

then there are mana less champsions

u dont see assains like Talon even forced to get a mana regen item

u dont see ADC having to really manage mana

but mages.. the class that cant do ANYTHING outside of spells.. WE have to manage mana and delay out damage items becuase if we doing we are going to run OOM then get tower dove as soon as we do

depends on the champ in aram ludens is 10x better than tear on long range poke champs like xerath/ziggs/lux even if that means more mana problems later on (although you can always get both, not always recommended doe) but on champs like orianna tear is definitely the better choice

obv aram try hards will disagree but i prefer the extra mana regen over the extra tip of damage early i don't like sitting useless as mage because i have no mana and enemy doesn't want to kill me
