Mods Locking Threads With No Reason

So a mod gets personally upset by a thread I make, accuses me of insulting people, then locks my thread.

Then the lock notice says to post here.

Then I post here about it, and they delete my thread.

Amusingly, when you insult the entire board community as part of your Discuss the Board thread, that violates board rules, and thus means your thread is subject to removal. If you wish to discuss a removal you feel is improper, you need to follow board rules when you do so.

Hello there, Prandine here. As the person who locked your original thread allow me to shed some light on the situation.

You start off by asking a question with two choices that by your own admission no one would normally choose. When people called you out on that fact and/or even explained why they wouldn't choose the two options you presented you resorted to insults and name-calling, usually calling them over-sensitive snowflakes. Heck, even in your OP you call those who disagreed with you over-sensitive snowflakes.

This shows that you only wanted Yesman answers and not an actual discussion, and that if anything you only made the post as an excuse to insult people who disagreed with you (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that last point there). Sorry but that's not how things work. When on a public forum you're naturally gonna have people that disagree with you, and that's fine. What's not fine however is insulting and name-calling those that do disagree with you in a respectful (neutral or positive) manner. To quote Wizard101 Central member Magus Zeppers:

Ever read or hear of the story "The boy that cried wolf", these "this is that last straw" threads follow the same pattern.

Thats what I get from many of these complaints. I dont mean to attack anyone, but when they themselves attack (You cant tell me you werent attacking others* on the matter), why should they expect anything in return?

...

As far as "educated" opinions, you got them. You just cant handle them because they did not fall in line with your beliefs. Welcome to the real world.

I try to be "civil". And I respect your opinion when stated in a reasonable fashion (not necessarily a rant screaming im gonna quit). Understand that its a two way street.

You yourself lashed out regarding "educated" responses. This in itself shows a lack of respect to others, simply because they did not agree with you.

To sum it up your thread was locked for insulting and name-calling everyone who disagreed with you and/or called you out on your poll. This has nothing to do with "insert insult here" but everything to do with interacting with others in a mature and respectful manner, which you failed to do in your original thread. In the future if you disagree with someone then do so in a respectful (neutral or positive) manner. If you can't or won't do that then don't respond at all and just move on.

I can see why he locked it - you insulted anyone who pointed out your thread was at best useless and at worst trolling and a leading question.

So a mod locked your thread and the follow up threads you made to complain so you made another thread to complain?
