Cass is the new Ryze top. Thank you based Stashu for again subjecting us to the terror of a fat, spammy mage that invalidates half the champs that can be picked for the role just by being there. Did you really think putting 187% of her power into a point and click nuke would do anything but make her into a tumor on toplane? I loved old Cass, and this spammy mage-marksman wannabe is NOT Cass. I actually was playing her top to get back into diamond in KR/LAN I honestly never met a single other cass top on my way back to diamond Did i miss something? Or is it actually a thing now. I haven't watched any pro games in awhile either.(i watched worlds that was it basically)

Tells you a lot about the rework if being OP only increases the champion's pick rate by 2%.

This rework of hers needs to be scrapped. She needs to be totally relaunched with a new kit. Keep her R and make sure she has poisons, but that's all.

Oh quite a few immobile mages exists. Of course they often compensate with either amazing range or powerful self-peel...or both...

Now what I REALLY want to see is an immobile champion with neither the range nor self-peel to justify their immobility.** Imagine a Brand or Malzahar mid in an LCS match against Orianna's and Zed's!**

Except that Malz is buggy as F. There is a bug that they said they fixed that they didn't last I heard. haven't played in like 2 months, which was that his ult would randomly cancel, or you would cancel one of his combo setups on his ideal combo by casting ult.

His ult doesn't randomly cancel, although it does seem that the .5 second command lockout was got disabled at some point which makes it damn easy to cancel the channel accidentally

unfortunately turns out that being a short range immobile mage leads to you getting raped mid by the jungler....

....and that kids is the story of the only time anybody picked malz in the lcs

Actually Zed's REQ burst happens in a shorter time frame than Malzahar's ult and is more than enough to kill him at all stages of the game. Zed will simply sit there suppressed while he watches the shuriken on Malz's head slowly lower til splat.

Hey Pwyff is like, my favorite person in the planet, his job is to make the decisions that someone else took, sound funny, and he does that perfectly, and I LOVE HIM. But yeah, Stashu and the live balance team are not exactly looking at Cassio in the same way.

Rework sucks, throw number buffs at it to pretend it isn't the case, then nerf it at claim it's all part of the cycle of balance. Hey, it was viable once upon a time, so the kit is well made, right?

i actually liked the changed with E refresh time on poison. The rest of the changes were fucking shit. And her ult windup is still forever and has shit range for the windup too.

If her ult had like 100-75 more range and the same windup it wouldn't be so bad. But Iv';e constantly just barely missed someone who could see the animation and flashed backwards and looked away from me and just barely walked out of the damage that would've killed them or at least let me slow and chase.

Anyway, cass is pretty much dead when they removed the scaling on her abilities for late game death cap meaning something. Now its just some shitty liandries+ rylias combo you have to build because her scaling doesn't even use the AP for anything besides E anymore.

She was fine before the man nerfs... yea she can bully, but if u get in her face or out range her she dies. Which is a fuck ton of champs top and mid.

Her mana pool is terrible low early and mana regen is a joke.
