My idea for a much more fair and balanced ranked system

-New accounts start at B5 no matter what.

-At the beginning of each season, you can be placed only within your current league. So say you were Silver at the end of the season, your placement games can only place you as low as S5 and as high as S1.

-Promos no longer exist between tiers, only between leagues. And if you fail a promo, you start at 99lp.

-In order to be demoted a tier, you have to lose 3 consecutive games in a row at 0lp.

-In order to be demoted a league you have to lose 10 consecutive games in a row at 0lp in tier 5 of that league.

-lp gains and losses are static, varying in amount based off of the league and tier you're in.

-accounts less than a year old are matched together and never mixed with accounts a year or older.

  1. people playing mobas before are better than typical bronze 5 or than people who only begins their Journey so I think it is unfair.

  2. You might had a break you might get worse and now even if you drop from plat to for example Silver with your mmr you will reach next division each won game and Gold 4+ you will get like over 30lp so it's not that hard if you are Not bad to reach your division again.

  3. I don't get first part of it but if it comes to 99lp after lost promo it is making climbing easier and I am not sure if that's what we try to achive.

There's nothing wrong with the ranking system. If you lose your promos, you go down however many LP you would have gone down. If you lose a couple games after promotion, you'll (I'm pretty sure) get a points penalty for won games until you can "make up" the LP you were gifted to keep you from dropping right back down again.

Everything seems fine to me. . . gotta believe in the math-- Riot programmers are good at it, most LoL players are not.

I think having promos every rank makes it more exciting-- you work hard to GET to the promos, you do your best to win them. If it was just straight LP from rank 5 to rank 1 to promos, there wouldn't be those little bursts of excitement while you climb.
