Why isn't there a 100% solo que ranked

Title says all.

I don't understand why there can't just be solo que ranked and flex que ranked. Just seems like a game where all 10 players are solo would be a lot more balanced. And if you want to duo you can go to flex for that. Why even have 'duo' as a concept. I'm sick of getting 'duo' trashlord premades on my team and I'm sick of facing two 'duo' smurf players steamrolling my r%%%%%ed team mates. Please, I want a game mode where its just solo players and nobody is communicating with each other prior to the match. Why doesn't this exist?

I agree with you fully. I would like to see a dedicated solo Q, and flex Q. I actually like flex Q as a concept, but if we have that, duos have no place in the solo q, imo.

Personally, I hate solo Qing, I like ranked because people actually (most of the time) tries there.

So Duo is a good way for me to play ranked AND climb. I always do my placements solo, then from there I see if I want to duo or keep solo climbing, though I have been duoing with my friend, which makes the game more fun. Even in ranked.

And either ways, Solo/Duo was the original queue before flex happened. Lets just not talk about Season 6 "Dynamic Queue" lol...

You can't split the ladder like that, one of them would die and queue times would be ridiculous. Also LoL wasn't at all designed to be a solo game, solo queue has always played far differently than team 5s
