If you could ban a champion OR an item in ban phase

There'd be a lot less balance outliers.

Obviously some things should be immune (components, boots, sightstone, and things like BC thatd gut a class with their removal). Maybe some extra rules to stop a team target-banning crit items or something (but in that case there's on-hit builds anyway).

Think about it.

then there must be more item before this could happen else it is useless imo cuz if u can't ban certain item due to immune list then it is a useless ban system

the item shop isn't NEARLY robust enough for this. too many champions rely overly much on one first item, or require a specific item to play against.

Sona: ardent censer (because they made her useless without it)

Kayle: barely functions without nashors

Zed: owns all midlane mages without question if no zhonyas

many midlane mages need a morellonomicon to keep up with the ADC early-mid power curves

any team picking Soraka can get rid of thornmail and mortal reminder

Several top lane fighters need a triforce badly to hit their stride, or will just lag pathetically all match behind the sacred ADCs.

Speaking of ADCs, their itemization is SO robust that they'd be the only ones NOT overly harmed by this.
