Why does Akali have built in sustain but they are nerfing Kats?
Katarina literally can't beat anyone in lane now, there is not a single champion she has an advantage over.

Akali has one of the worst laning phases in the game. Once they nerf Kat people are going to completely move on to zed.
Akali has an extremely weak early game for a "meh" late game.
Kat has a moderately weak early game for a nightmarish late game.
Meanwhile Zed gets to be a hyper-bully during the laning phase, and gets +%25 bonus AD to get him to scale nicely into late game. Them 700AD autos hurt, don't they?
Akali has already received her nerfs, so it's Kat's turn to get one too? So it's justifiable.
If you must ask, Akali's nerf was that her E won't proc her Q passive, so she feels pretty clunky to play now.
EDIT: In LCS, Katarina was picked against a LeBlanc (forgot which teams was that) and won, so Kat still deserves some nerfs.
Katarina is still a MONSTER if you compare her with Akali. I have laned against Ahri today as Kat and I was 0/2 because I wasnt carefull so I got ganked like moron...lol...Even if I had 0/2 and 30 minions less than Ahri I carried that game after I managed to get a single damn kill. My End score was something like 16/7/X, you can check it, it was something like that.
-Katarina's laning phase is better than Akali's
-Katarinas Laning phase is safer than Akali's
-Karatina's escape is more reliable than Akali's
-Katarina deals AOE damage and has better resset while Akali deals single target and has worst resset than Kata. Akali's E doesn't count as DAMAGE (LOL) since i doesn't procs Q anymore.
-And at the end, Kata's teamfight potential is MUCH MUCH better than Akali's.
Because champions differ from one another and
