Love how a mechanically intensive character like Katerina just gets crapped on because Ryze is tanky as hell and has point and click CC braindead smash your face against the keyboard. Katerina has to put in 5 X the effort a ryze does to do anything simply because ryze is in the match. basically a 9-1 matchup katerina has no chance to win.

Characters who have high mechanical needs to play should be more powerful if played correctly than a braindead champion that takes literally negative skill to play.

To all you haters who will come here saying Katerina is EZ MODE OMG RYZE SO SKILLED shut up you have no idea what your talking about nor will i respond to that bs.

Katerina has to use every skill rotation almost 2 times on top of 2 actives and a flash and ignite to get her job done. Ryze presses 2 buttons. nuff said.

He is a combo mage. Kat's designed the same way.

again katerina has to use two different actives in a fight on top of her two summoner spells on top of her skillset to be succesful

Ryze doesnt have to use his skillset his R has 0 dmg on it and he uses only one active and even then its extremely rare. He clears an entire wave in two buttons. and kills you with two buttons occasionally calling for him to actually use 3 buttons ( damn character is so mechanically intensive )

maybe if he was as glass cannon as katerina I would agree with you. The fact that hes tanky as hell has point and click CC not a skill shot ( katerina actually has to manipulate where her dagger is going to land ) its just not even close.

Ryze has 0 ways to stop a Kat ult.

Shred 'em early.

Also Ryze's damage is crap early unless you let him hit you with several Q magic psuedo-crits.

Also Ryze can't spam early or he'll go OOM, even with a tear.

I'm gonna make a prediction:

You played katarina in your last game and got stomped by a fed ryze.

Edit: 1/9/2 katarina, checks out Ryze was only 7/5/8 though, not nearly as fed as I was expecting. It looks like ashe and leona carried that game though. Also I don't really understand why you're trying to say it was 1v9 when you did by far the worst on your team.

being played right and therefore being very strong != braindead. They're both champions with very high skill ceilings, and learning how to play them well is very rewarding. They're about as braindead as azir or riven.

id say don't make me laugh but you already did. so the only one i can agree with you on is azir (hard too play amazing if done right) but the others....well

Riven knock up and a stun that are not all to hard hit plus an ungodly amount of damage easily accessible Katarina high mobility and by high i mean REALLY high plus an ungodly amount of magic damage in less then 2 seconds Ryze in to a fight, if he snares first +1/0/0, if he goes q first then he gets movement speed boost then that turns into a +1/0/0

Riven and Ryze are braindead champs EVEN RIOT just made fun of Riven in the patch notes cause its that hilariously bad.

How is it kat is skilless have you looked at her combos and what it takes to do them ? she is mechanically difficult. Not to mention one wrong move and rip you.

Ryze doesnt have that issue neighter does Riven.

I do not see how RYZE And RIVEN can even be put in the same area as Katerina. Hell I've watched fakers Katerina lose to Ryze its an unwinnable matchup period. When the best in the world cant win u know its a bad match.

Kat Q's walk up to enemy ryze to E gets prisoned by ryze eats a q + auto dagger vanishes gets Qd over and over cause of no escape unless a minnion wave is coming from behind GG lane over.
