Morgana Dark Binding Hitbox/Range Trial

After getting thoroughly rekt by a Morgana last game by her ever so questionable Dark Bindings, I decided to stop being lazy and take her into a custom game to test the hitbox and range of Dark Binding.

As you can clearly see in these images the minions are noticeably farther than the range of Dark Binding, but in both instances Dark Binding landed successfully. The images are from 0:30 and 0:36 in the video respectively http://i.imgur.com/d6bOWGI.png

Note: This would have been much easier to test if League had a sandbox mode, and if the minions didn't have to almost be off my screen to be out of Dark Bindings indicator range.

Conclusion Hitbox: Questionable, most likely larger than visual. Range: Longer than ability indicator by a noticeable margin.

It's a general indicator, it doesn't accurately match the range or width of the ability, though it is actually sort of close. The range of the ability does match the listed range of 1175. You can check it easily against Lux's Light Binding as they both have the same ability range of 1175.

Every spell goes further than what it says it does.

As far as the sides, it seems that if any part of the range indicator is touching the target, it will hit. So edge-to-edge detection instead of center. This is working as intended, if a bit misleading.

As far as range, agreed. Clearly longer than the range indicator. It needs to be adjusted.

I remember making a topic about how stupid Morg's Q is and got downvoted into shit. Go figure.

The ability goes farther than the end of the indicator, but the width seems to match the indicator perfectly.

Hitbox is less predictable than my fizz ult aim.

It is pretty vague.

In the width tests, the edge of the indicator was always touching the edge of the minions. Additionally, the actual animation itself always hit the minions. In the length tests, the tip of the indicator was not touching the minions, but the animation, which is what the opponents actually see, always did.

I do wish Riot would fix all hitbox, animation, and indicator discrepancies, though.
