Ohmwrecker is Awesome
It's only weakness is that it requires teamwork.
The fact that it is not a popular item in tournaments and Gold+ is baffling to me.

Ohmwrecker is a terrible item. It has a miserable gold cost that makes building it garbage because you can't get it online in suffient time for it to actually be useful, and it's severely outclassed by literally every other item supports and tanks need to functionally work in lane and help the team. Ohmwrecker is an item that should be built early in lane, but it doesn't offer enough presence to merit that over things like Face of the Mountain, Iceborn Gauntlet, Sunfire Cape, or Locket of the Iron Solari. It either needs to be removed entirely or have it's buildpath changed to be more of a rush item.
I main Taric, and I would absolutely buy the thing if it built from Glacial Shroud and Kindlegem, as the stats that would offer would benefit an early rush while also providing the CDR I'd need to he effective. Changes like this would help the item and push it towards viability instead of whatever it is now.
Why would a tank get an Ohmwrecker when they could just get an armor item and tank it better? Plus, they can't guarantee aggro gets on the right target after the effect ends. If you just tank it, you know exactly where the aggro is and can hand it off as necessary.
Did you see tanks and bruiser these days? building an armor and hp item and they tank more tower shots than ohmwrecker would prevent in that time.
If turrets ignoreds shield or had % helath damage then it might acutally be worth getting sometimes.
Heck it is arguably comparable to Omen now if you want movement speed near turrets and are fine with health regen instead of crit damage reduction and a slow active.
Because nobody needs an anti-tower item when towers are absolute garbage. Also the highest elo it is, the most people know how to abuse tower patterns and juggle aggro.

when I'm ultra fed, enough to dive 2 people and come out with a double kill, still alive. It gotta be more efficient than ZZ'Rot because I build them mainly for the MS near towers, which is unlikely. ZZ is just better overall.
Its one of those items with an OP passive,
but weak stats and a "can do without" passive. It would be a decent support item if towers weren't piss weak to begin with, but its not as important to rush as knight's vow, locket, redemption, and late game ohmwrecker just does nothing because towers are dead or it wouldn't make a difference.
Spending a large amount of gold to reduce 0 damage to 0 damage for a few seconds is not a worthwhile investment.
