Can we revert the Taric E nerfs?

Almost immediately after his rework, Taric saw nerfs to his W leash range and E width/length. I believe the W nerf is somewhat justified, but the E nerfs were jumping the gun.

The nerfs weren't too strong, something like 50 less width/length, but the current meta is unfavorable to Taric, although he isn't necessarily in a bad spot right now.

Such a change would most likely do nothing to change the meta or his playrate/winrate, just a little change to revert an overzealous nerf.
