I don't see a damn point to take CotC anymore. Grasp looks a little bit too sad compared to it's classic version. What about Fervor of Battle? They changed it during december patch. Did they achieved some balance success with that change?

CotC is fine how it is and rewards 4-5 man diving rather than "Oh I CC'd you and now got a massive shield" in 1v1 situations.

the shield in a 1v1 still isnt bad. not as nice as it was, but it blocks a couple AAs or an ability still.

the mastiers feel pretty good to me atm because they all seem to be balanced with eachother. Also, riot did say they plan on changing it and adding more than 3 choices.
