First opinions on new Vlad.
HNNNNNNNG.
Compared to the old one, he feels really, really smooth to play. Q cast time is significantly shorter, there's no more self-silence on the ult and E can now be cast while moving. His animations feel and look better, and on the whole is a general improvement.
That being said...
There's only two problems I have with new Vlad; and they're both on Q. Part of Vlad's identity is being sustained, both in his health bar and in his damage. The new Crimson Rush addition is a great way to introduce good windows of power into Vlad's kit without breaking them (cough cough
), but it makes his non-Rush Q's feel incredibly lackluster. He feels...not overbearing enough that I think straight buffing his non-Rush Q's without nerfing the Rush feels fair, specifically on the healing, but I wouldnt mind damage buffs.
The other problem I have is in fact with the Rush; in that it only heals half against minions. This makes Vlad's fantasy as "giga-sustain Mage" suffer a little bit, and I don't think it'd become problematic if you allowed Vlad to heal for the full Rush value against minions.
Lifesteal users arent penalized from healing off minions.
isnt.

isnt. The list could go on...
Vlad is THE premier sustain Mage, he should feel as such. This is the only issue I have with the rework, and otherwise you've done an absolutely stellar job Stashu. Props to you.
