Meddler finally escaped silver

Yeah, Riot's logic is great. Supports are doing way too much damage right now, so instead Riot is going to nerf what makes supports actually able to support. Has nothing to do with that fact I can go E max Soraka and literally put the enemy ADC so far behind the game becomes snowball-y before I would ever even need my heal maxed anyways. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

They're going too hard, too fast though. It's one thing to nerf the shielding/healing items. It's another to do this simultaneously with severe nerfs to shielding supports. The result will be an implosion for Janna, Lulu, and Karma that will all but remove them from the game.

All we needed was an item that worked like Pyke's ult that allowed you to ignore part of the shielding. So like remake Lord Dominick's so that like 30% of the damage you deal ignores shields or something like that.

The shields didn't really get nerfed though...they still shield for the same amount you just need better timing when using them.

So the egirls will need to put a bit more effort into it, nothing too bad.

The real inescapable nerfs were done to the items, but if you used unholy grail you might not notice anything different.

EDIT: also remember that shields are immune to grievous wounds so they're still here without any real counters. I think shield supports will not be as dominant but will still be common.
