If you're happy that there's more bot lane diversity, cool. But what happens to ADCs?

There are about 21 ADCs (by definition) in the game. These champs were designed SPECIFICALLY with bot lane in mind sometimes they found success in other roles but eventually got egged out and left (looking at you Corki). This meta makes it impossible for ADCs to play anywhere and I mean ANYWHERE. Bot? Fiddle/Brand bot lane take you down to 50% HP at level 2. Good luck. Mid? Leblanc takes you down to 50% hp at lvl 1 and kills you at lvl 2. Jungle? Die to camps and fall behind while you never recover. Top? Survive till 6 then die because you aren't tanky enough or put out enough dmg. And let's not forget the 7 enchanter champs that will suffer from this because they don't have as much dmg as mage supports. So 20+ champs are kicked out of a lane for the sake of "diversity". If Riot wanted diversity, they never should have made these champs with only bot lane in mind.

I still wonder where people even get this from tbh. In soloq the top 10 pick rate bot laners are ALL adcs, and if your argument is pro play, then 1) you shouldve complained about assassins being mostly unplayable mid lane for the past 3 years and 2) even in pro play, far more than half of the meta bot laners are ADCs LUL

6/20 new champions introduced into bot lane and are meta. ADCs cried and got their lane back.

I don't think anybody wants adcs pushed our of their position, just more diversity in the role so it isn't ONLY marksmen that are playable

since forever, having an ADC was a must.

Some ADCs can do fine in other lanes. Vayne top, Lucian mid, Kaisa jg. About half of the ADCs are viable right now. That's fine, to me. About half the mage mid laners are viable.

I mean Riot literally just posted a new match where ADC's final items are cheaper. In my opinion after this new patch ADC's should bounce back a bit. This current patch is a bit rough for ADC's tho.

Stop pretending that each has only one build and adapt to the situation. If you take kog mid vs. Zed and try rushing rageblade and zerks you're going to feed and it's totally your fault. You can lane ok from 1-5, then back for a long sword, ruby and cloth before he can ult you. All the marksmen with dashes are ok in a solo lane, if maybe low on waveclear. Use the dash to dodge poke and engage instead of waiting for someone to cc them for you and dashing for the kill.

Would you agree that the role is 'bottom', not ADC, and all the changes did was allow more diversity is what is played as the 'carry' that plays in the role. All that changed was that crit based ADCs (which are still being played) are more about the longer the game goes on the better they become, which is how it should work.

20/140 champs restricted to 1 role was always odd when Top is made up of like 50/140. These champs can go other places too, mid, jungle, even support in some cases. The changes they made to crit based ADCs added diversity to a role which had come down to, whoever can get IE and a completed Zeal item first wins.
