What to do in this situation?

This happened in my last game, but I imagine it happens frequently. My bot lane quickly destroyed the enemy bot lane and left bot to go mid; however, they stayed mid and the enemy bot lane stayed bot. The enemy mid and jungler were fizz and Annie, and they just held mid while the enemy bot lane shoved.

I went bot lane to hold off the bot from taking towers, because they shoved and two towers. We ended up losing, and I got blamed for a lot of it for not going mid. A lot happened between all that, but in the end I feel like my bot got so far behind from being mid that they couldn't compete. They were ahead when they left, but by the end was behind 100 cs.

What would you do in this situation? I was playing yi, so I was squishy and didn't feel like I could go mid and teamfight because it was only 10 minutes in, but my team said I had to and that it was my fault we lost. I only had my boots and upgraded jungler item at this point.
