Elo hell is real, but people aren't in it as much as they claim

You might be in Elo hell for 2/10 games, the other 8 is just you on tilt from those 2 games

That happens to everybody at all ELOs.

It's annoying in the short-term but it evens out pretty quickly.

Define "evens out pretty quickly"

Over 500 games maybe. Maybe.

But that's a shitload of games, I'd wager more them most people play in a season.

Averages aren't garunteed, intact they are unlikely without giant numbers.

I get AFL's and shit far more often then I see enemy team get them. Sure some people are on the luckier end of chance, but so.e aren't.

I meant closer to 15 or 25 games.

I have had many games (especially in my first 40 games (from Silver 3 to Gold 4) where people on my team would intentionally feed or AFK. There were also a great many games where the enemy team would suffer the same.

It really didn't matter to me even if people afked or trolled in my games. I knew that I would climb regardless since I was better than where I was placed. at that point in time.

It happens to everybody and there is little you can do to stop it, so you just have to work around it. It will all even out in the end and if you deserve to climb, you will climb.
