Dark seal and the Energized changes

Can we buff the Dark Seal item 1082 and revert the changes to Energized items?

For those of you who don't know Dark Seal eventually builds into the current Mejai'sitem 3041 . I really want to love this item as a frequent player of caster types (Swain and Vel'koz in particular), but it's high risk for such low stats. Doran's keeps you in lane and with better income (the mana regen on minion kills rewards you for farming) and is far safer. Essentially the item wants you to snowball, but doesn't give you adequate ways of doing so vs the Doran's Ring counterpart.

The "Energized" item 2015 item changes came about when Statik Shiv was extra strong at beginning of the preseason. Basically, they changed it so that if you had two items with the energized type ability (say Statik Shiv item 3087 + Rapidfire cannon item 3094 ) that both abilities go off, but it only takes the damage from the highest source.

I actually really dislike this change because it takes away a whole build path. Before this change it was possible to opt into a charge up build that allowed you to energize then run into a lane and burst someone (including assassins and any other form of ad burster). So, for example on Rengar you could ultimate, run to your opponent, make the leap and on contact your two items would go off adding an extra 300ish magic damage.

I thought the point was to help diversify our choices. I thought this was a really cool build path, and a great alternative to Infinity Edge.

Are there any plans on looking at these items?

But what is to stop you from taking all three items?

Seriously, this is the problem with ADC items, if you want to diversify like this, you have to make sure they don't synergies to well with anything else or you end up with people one shotting others.

Ok granted... but why would that be a bad thing? That's kind of the point. Each of these items has a set amount of damage increase they give you. In other words, they would be very strong early where that amount of damage counts for more and fall off in the late game.

For example, Statikk Shiv does a set amount + if it criticals (set amount based on level plus a critical chance). This is not adjusted by any ratios.

Plus very few champions would opt into taking all three (even those that want it would be going statikk + rapidfire), and it's a costly investment for that ability. So, it leaves it up as an option, but you must commit to it.

I guess what I'm getting at here is I'm wondering why this would be a problem? It already existed this way up until the last patch.
