I am not sure if it was me or something, but turrets seem to be even glassier than I last remembered when I loaded up this patch. Especially after 14 min where the turret shield, which is also their only source of resistance now because reasons, is gone; turrets quite literally die in a couple hits. Like, seriously?
Not even sure what Rito is thinking.
Ranged va melee match ups will be even more lopsided if you play safe and defensive btw.
The main issue with the platings is how squishy they are and hard engage supports with Demolish. If an already killy lane like Leona + Lucian gets a single kill the lane is over. They push up, zone the remaining fodder away or straight up kill him, break 1-3 platings and go back with a 1k lead in lane. Rince and repeat and its a 2k+ lead. In most of my games, high gold/low plat, at least one tower falls before min 12, often two until the platings fall, not only leading to a massive gold deficit but also lost map control.
Anf this gets even worse with the empowered first dragons and dank harvest, which, even after the nerfs, is incredibly broken in a duo lane.
Tl;dr: Kill lanes snowball out of control and take over the game in a way that forces the enemy team to play for the lategame from fb onwards. (Pls fix bounties rito, i dont want a 1k bounty as Anivia with 3/2 and 160 cs)
