Riot is this really the direction you want to take your game?

I would really love a Rioter to sincerely explain to me how the current state of the game is in any way healthy or fun.

Here are two examples literally just taken from the last 2 ranked games i played but this happens nearly every game.

  1. 1 +1/2 item Vi with no ultimate instantly killing me from 80% https://webmshare.com/Dd1jQ

2.** Diana with literally not even 1 item complete** instantly dropping me from full + lux shield to about 5% https://webmshare.com/dvNzV

Are you guys serious with the current state of damage in this game? Champions with literally no items have assassin level burst? Where is the counterplay? Where is the fairness? Whats the point of assassins if half your roster has the ability to instantly kill without any items?

I mean this is just stupid its not even fun. The fact that you wont even acknowledge this issue with the community is just ridiculous.

Honestly both of these examples look fine to me given game state.

Clip 1)

A level down Zoe vs a Triforce Vi. You facetanked nearly her full non-ultimate combo (Q, E + 3 hit passive of W, blue smite) and you had bought no armor items. Zoe is one of the squishiest champions in the game for good reason -- you shouldn't have even been that close in the first place. Proper gameplay would be to wait for your Garen to engage and then follow up, but you were impatient, and died as a result of that.

Clip 2)

You shut the clip off here, but you didn't die here. It's too early on into the game for you to have any MR (you bought your MR 15 minutes into the game, after this clip) and the Diana bought these items: item 1056 item 1056 item 3145 item 1058 item 3113. He had a nearly completed Luden's ON TOP of a Hextech revolver; a build that is pretty useless in any teamfight scenario, but indexes heavily into upfront burst. I'd argue that if Diana doesn't nearly kill you here that our item system is heavily flawed given that she landed her QRR + electrocute on you and you're a squishy mage that hasn't itemized towards MR at all.

When you're playing squishy artillery mages, you are vulnerable to assassin burst patterns and need to adjust your positioning accordingly :).

I think upfront burst can be problematic in our game currently (Dark Harvest in tandem with Duskblade feels ridiculous to play against), but don't think either example here is sufficient to prove your argument.
