So for any champion designers out there. There ever been talk of a "Legion"-type champion?

You know, a horde-type. A champion who is really multiple units.

Now you may say this is impossible or it wouldn't work in LoL or some bs like that. But why don't you try to explain the concepts like* "ADC with gap-closers in every auto-attack as passive", "transforming champion who isn't in 100% full control of his transformation", "black champion who isn't Nidalee", and "champions who cancels skillshots with wall"* to GD just a year or more ago.

Do you think people could believe Riot would create such champions? Or would old GD just find 6 different ways to question your sexual orientation and spam downvotes?

So anyways...a Legion-type champion. Have any Riot designers ever discussed the possibilities of such a champion? Your jungler may meet two of the legion in the jungler while the rest are keeping the top laner busy, etc.

also does Azir and Donger count as a legion?

Not quite Azir. For one thing, his minions barely count as minions to begin with. Plus there's the fact that Azir and his minions are separate beings, emperor and soldiers.

A "Legion" or "Horde" type is when the entire champion consists of a large pack of similarly-ranked individuals. Think a pack of wolves, or in LoL's case, a pack of "Void Wolves", or perhaps an entire platoon of Yordle guerilla fighters. In that case there aren't obvious ranks among the legion, and if there are (like an alpha male or captain), the difference is really tiny and miniscule.

I realize this is satire, but technically speaking, the AA portion of Martial Poise requires Kalista to already by in range; it's not really much of a gap closer at all.

Gap-closer as in she's jumping the gap between where she stands, and to a point where that is further away from the Volibear trying to catch her.

It's no Tristana rocket jump, but it's still far more than what Varus or Miss Fortune have.

Also it triggers off her skillshot too.
