I've decided to expand my reach from just support. Any Tips for Csing and General Tips for Mid Lane?

I've been a support main for a few seasons now and I love the role a lot. However, I'm realizing that my play style is changing and I want to expand to other roles. I've been playing Talon again and He seems to be my 'best' champ for mid lane. Meaning, I can farm 'okay' with him and I can get fed and help carry, or even carry but It's still not all that great.

Also, if I get behind, I struggle to get back on my feet. Any tips for coming back would be great.

Also, just tips on how to farm better or how to practice for csing. It's my biggest struggle.

Oh and, Runes. I'm not sure what the best runes are to use for Mid-lane. For Talon, I just use the Dominance page. Some tips for Runes would be great too, if possible.

Thanks in advance for everything!

Something I'll sometimes do is click on a minion I want to last hit and see his health, recognize the damage your ability or auto attack will do to it, and then hit it when it reaches that threshold. It's not a good habit to do for every minion, but it helps you learn how to measure your own damage. Granted, this probably works better for top laners.

Understanding range and the amount of damage that you and your opponent do in mid lane is extremely important, more so than other lanes. You just need to study or at least understand the difference in cooldowns between your champion and the opponent. I honestly don't know much about mid lane since it is by far my worst role. I'm honestly in a similar situation on learning a role right now but different. I used to be terrible at top and now I main it. Honestly though, I was just taking way too many random tower shots as a melee.
