like a few weeks ago she was trash tier, like you couldn't pick anything worse than elise.

now...every game i see an elise she gets fed as all fuck. usually has 8 kills by like 20 minutes. wtf did they do to her

doesn't help that jackasses keep blowing total ass with their afk devourer shit. oh yeah lets let elise gank relentlessly! counter gank? what's that?

They upped the duration on her stun. By a lot. And her spider;ings' base damage and AP ratio is up, as well as the fact that spiderlings now do MAGIC damage. She always had good early ganks, but back in S4 she had garbage late game scaling, and her teamfighting was just soooooo bad. She was so hard to play and is like Shamans in WoW in the sense you need to play at the highest possible level of skill with Elise just to be on par with everyone else.

the big thing is that spiderlings now do magic damage, allowing her to build carry elise and 1 shot any1 late and mid game

Patch 5.14 increased the duration of her stun at early levels to 1.6/1.7/1.8/1.9/2 seconds at max rank. They changed her spider form from doing physical damage to doing magic damage and they changed the ap ratios of her spiderlings to 0.15 from .1

She got a pretty substantial buff this patch, but a lot of the problem are the very AFK junglers you complain about. The jungle is overrun by bad devourer jungle players who selfishly ignore their allies and just powerfarm all day, giving Elise plenty of elbow room to do her worst and get her team snowballing in the first ten minutes of the game.

yeah man, that's what is often the case. elise has ganked about 10 times, and our shyitty acquires devourer ands all "guyz I'm ready to stack"...meanwhile 0-15 and basically gfg.

between that and the buffs/AP item reworks it's like a perfect storm for elise. just taken to banning her when i get the chance now :/ don't see any other champ get fed and single-handedly win games so regularly
