I feel like losing the ability to ward when you have Rift is like a punishment, and there are so many times where people accidentally Rift in a bush when trying to ward it. Why should we get punished for successfully contesting an objective? What's wrong with adding just 1 more button?
might I offer a suggestion, controlwards. On average most games people by an average of 2 control wards. So for the small time you have Rudy make a habit of getting like 2 control wards so you can have wards to use during the time you carry Shelly.
Pink Wards are a thing, also only Bronze deploys Rift in bushes accidentally. Lots of higher ranked players deploy Rift in the bushes next to lane to keep channel from being interrupted.
