Ranked Placements are Broken!!!!

I like the idea of putting people with their appropriate skill level but, the placement matches are broken! Last year my friend did his first ever placement matches and won 4/10... He got silver 3, I won 7/10 and i got Bronze 5. Someone please tell me why this happens?!? It's not fair at all, he doesn't do callouts/mia's or even know all the champs names and roles they go.(He only plays supp and isn't even that good at it). RIOT please fix this!! You should win more IP depending on your ELO. If you're gold 3 you should win more IP than a Bronze 2 and, challenger wins should get the most IP for they are the hardest to get to. because unrankeds have a mmr of ~ silver 4. while you were around bronze i imagine. thats why. why should someone who is bronze get placed in like gold and a diamond player be placed in like bronze just because you won more? that makes no sense.

also if you get more ip for being higher, you will just see more ppl cry "bla bla im only xy because my team sucks its unfair that i dont get same ip"

Ranked placements are much different than what everyone believes. Basically at the start of a new season regardless of where you placed before, everyone is placed back at S3. Your MMR remains the same. Then you play your 10 games and you gain LP or lose LP based on your hidden MMR and your current position S3.... The starting tier might not be correct but the idea is.

Basically the placements are a placebo riot feeds all of us to give them a way to reset our ranking tiers closer to our MMR because throughout the year we rank up much faster than our MMR increases or decreases.
