Why is the font used for the name of the champion in the enemy team the same for the role i'm being put up for?
SUPPORT and VAYNE are just two complete different thing yet have the same font and it's bugging my so much atm (I'm not talking gameplay-wise, i mean that SUPPORT is a role and VAYNE is a champion name) meanwhile my champion name is just a small font over my role

No clue. Probably for clarity sake. You can't see their name so you can't look them up / ghost them, so they probably figured why not take up the extra space with bigger font; easier to read, and takes up the extra space. Why is vayne so transparent though o.O
I'm a graphic designer and even I'm not this anal retentive about the typeface. It doesn't matter than the names and roles use the same type, especially since your team's respective roles is the most important information to glean from your side, and the champions themselves are the important thing from theirs.
