Best rune for fiddle?

I normally ran thunderlords on my fiddle support, it worked really well and I had a very high winrate of about 80% with it... but currently finding all the runes lack luster on him now in comparison.

I tried aery, the damage wasn't that great. I tried comet, wasn't reliable and wasn't great. I haven't tried the new thunderlords yet but I am assuming it might be hard to proc now, sadly. I miss procing thunderlords with only fiddle e bounces, rip

Currently my favorite preseason supports are aery vel'koz, aery Brand, comet Miss Fortune, electro Bard, aftershock Leona But really want to get Fiddle back on my list, he wrecks healer/shielder supports.

Have you tried prdeator? It procs runic, allows chasing with ult if done right. Other than that aery seems best bet since phase rush might be weird to proc. Idk havent tried fid yet

Trying to find more damage, just not seeing decent damage like I did with thunderlords proc.

Predator with celerity and other movespeed buffs you burst well. But short answer is fid was screwed with changes. Really more of a jungler. You could build tank with cheap shot for the cc, increased heal to be annoying, and increased dmg for adc. But he like tier 4 support now

Instead of using your crows to deal decent damage, you instead Q + auto anybody you can in lane, earn gold and potions with kleptomancy, rush an early Zhonyas. You get a decent amount of AP from your MS, and Ultimate Hat is always good on Fiddle.

You still won't get the damage from your crows like you used to, but your overall damage will be better. Plus, your healing will bet a bit stronger. If you do use this rune path, you should activate Predator, before ulting. It lasts for 15s, so you should have plenty of time to run up to someone, and hit them with your E.

I've tried a lot but there is a few I think work the best.

Kleptomancy can work if they have a melee support. However, I found zoning them out more effective.

Sorcery > Aery > Ult hat > Transcendence > Scorch

Precision > Presence of mind > Coup De Grace

This gives good CD reduction on ur ult and spells. Extra CD is AP and you get 10% at 10. You crow will proc Aery and scorch for great poke damage when they hit a champ. Presence of mind will let you poke and drain for free after leveling or takedown. So once you ding in lane go ahead and drain from full hp. Then the 10% damage under 40% is nice. This is by far the best build I have found.

Just remember not matter the build or runes you will not be "tanky". 4k hp and 200 resist = 2 or maybe 3 secs. So adjust or playstyle. Just expect ad to do about 20% more damage to you. This is not a QQ just once they can proc the new runes and things on you will "feel" it. Everyone is. Don't be afraid if you have to get item 3001 item 3102 for MR.
