How exactly does giving every ADC a Yasuo passive fix the dominant ADC Meta?

item 3031 now gives Yasuo passive to everyone(doubles every crit chance) and deals 20 % of the crit as true damage. Its true that it no longer strengthens the crit damage by 250 %, but with 2,5 items every ADC can reach 100 % crit chance.

Essence Reaver also seems like it stronger then ever.

We were promised 2 things : BOTLANE nerfs (these are powershifting at best ) and more variety in botlane. So far I only see that mages got nerfed and ADC's mid-lategame buffed.

What I expected would make botlane actually open for other roles. ADC's base ad halved, mages basic attack(adaptive) scale with AP.

So far right clicking still has no counterplay and building armor is even more useless now with the armor pen and true damage on every adc.

Of course I might be wrong about things and Riot did not post every planned changes(doubt they actually got a reasonable solution).

What do you guys think?

Not to weigh in on the total effectiveness of the changes, but the power shift still is a nerf for crit ADCs. Infinity Edge on live is almost its own trinity, with strong AD, crit, and crit amp. With a little luck, it's a huge damage swing on it's own and a Zeal item magnifies that and removes the RNG.

Infinity Edge is going to be a terrible first buy after the changes, so even assuming ADCs skip storm razor and just go IE -> Zeal or vice versa, their early game capacity will be substantially weaker, with the early power spike they get being delayed. SR as a first buy makes things less horrific, but further delays getting into that synergistic power. That means they're going to be weaker for longer, even if their endgame payout remains the same (hypothetically, let's be real here), and therefore will be more exploitable.

That paradigm at least is a good thing. Whether or not the remainder of the changes make the grade or the melee crit users go off the rails one way or another are a whole different ballpark.

Hey guys! Mages are so OP they can all get brand passive with liandry's - same logic.

The numbers can be changed but it's a step in the right direction, instead of increasing the crit damage to everyone you get increased damage against armored targets (health is still effective).
