fiora can go mid

fiora shouldn't be taken mid at random, pick her with specific intent if you must

most toplaners can go mid but don't typically go mid for a reason

Only when picked as a specific counter in a specific team comp (some other source of magic damage, into a matchup where her kit has an advantage).

Potential splitpush toplaner (ekko), tank jg/support, and an adc with the ability to wave clear decently (varus/cait). Not saying fiora mid could be good or anything, but after seeing fnatic run camille mid literally anything is possible.

I was going to say ekko top, but you said ekko top.

Basically any time your top laner is something that would often be mid, you can swap a typical top laner mid instead, enemy comp allowing.

To answer your first question, yes, Fiora can play and win mid lane.

Is she a good mid laner? I would say it mostly depends on your skill with her and if you're better than the enemy mid laner. Matchups are also less desirable mid, most mid laners are burst champions and Fiora can get nuked if she either doesnt have or misses her w.

TL;DR

Yes she can mid.

No i wouldn't go out of the way to play her mid, top is much better for her.

i would say its about who enemy champ is if you are in drift and you can recognize who is mid you can pick fiora.... i mean if mid is kassadin or ahri it would be hard for fiora cause mid lane have few place for her Q and combos its just straight lane so you cant walk/run too much and also jungler can gank you from both sides that is problem also fiora can be OP in solo that why she is top laner ward river and play without fear.. just dont play fiora mid in ranked other way blind is for fun so.
