@Statikk @Meddler : A possible solution to eve's kit

It's not a secret that evelynn isn't in her best spot right now. Her abilities don't really synergize, and it makes her kit messy, her role is undefined and it seems like Riot don't really know what to do with her(the W nerf, lel).

I took some time and thought of some changes to her kit(call it light rework) that would solve some of the abuse cases in her current kit and define her role and actually allow her to be powerful. The idea came from assumption she's some kind of sadistic creature driven by hatred(I had lore tied to it, but from received feedback I didn't include it here)

Eve's kit :

PASSIVE: When out of combat for 6 / 5 / 4 / 3 seconds, Evelynn stealths into the shadows only being seen by nearby enemies or true sight. While stealthed, Evelynn regenerates 2% of her missing mana every second and ignores unit collision.

  • I think it's pretty core part of her identity so the passive stays the same.

Q - Hate spikes : Evelynn fires a line of spikes through a nearby enemy, dealing magic damage and applying a stacking debuff for 4 seconds that amplifies further abilities damage by X%.

Hate spike's debuff stacks up to 5 times for a maximum of X% amplification

  • Think cassiopeia's E damage amplification for poison, but it will work on both Q and E.
  • The % damage amplification gonna be pretty huge, to really feel the difference between no debuff on the enemy and 5 stacks of the debuff. Reason : This change gives meaning for hitting multiple hate spikes on the same target, allows healthier clears in the jungle while making her early ganks less obnoxious because she need to ramp up the debuff to boost her damage.

W - Dark Frenzy : ACTIVE: Evelynn removes all slows affecting her, gains increased movement speed for 3 seconds and ignores unit collision. Champion kills and assists refresh Dark Frenzy's cooldown.

              PASSIVE: Evelynn's spell hits on enemy champions passively grant stacking movement speed.
  • Revert of the W change in patch 5.6. It was perfectly fine before the change, it allowed her to chase enemies and open a gap when being chased. The ability already got a reset on it, so making the cooldown even lower is simply counterlogical.

E - Ravage : Evelynn slashes a target twice, dealing physical damage and applying on-hit effects with each strike. Evelynn then gains bonus attack speed for 3 seconds.

  • The damage is nerfed significantly, but does more with 5 stacks of Q debuff.
  • the damage amplification not applied on the on-hit effects

Reason: Well, I simply wanted to keep both ap and ad builds viable, the damage on it with 5 stacks of debuff would be significant(think anivia's frost bite with chill e) so I think it's fine if the physical damage stays as it is.

R - Agony's Embrace : ACTIVE: Evelynn marks her target for 4 seconds, reducusing her target's armor and magic resist by X% Slowing and instantly applying 5 stacks of Hate Spike's debuff.

                  PASSIVE: Evelynn revels in the demise of champions she has aided in killing, healing her upon their death.
  • Agony's Embrace cooldown halved if eve killing her target until the mark disappears.
  • Range set to 300(allow counterplay and give enough reaction time)

Reason: giving eve another damage source would be simply too much, as she already does alot of damage with 5 stacks of her Q debuff , it just makes her skip the ramp up phase and get immidiately to the assasination. The low range prevent abuse cases, and the healing will give her someway to sustain her during the fights and support her hit and run playstyle.

The kit might need some tunning but overally it's the direction I would like eve to go. Opinions and feedback is very important.Evelynn
