So Sejuani is one of my favorite champions, and once Riot announced the jungle changes I was really excited that I can play her again, but the patch hit live, and she still got the same problems as always, the new item not really helping her with her early clears, she still barely surviving. Yes, the new elder golem buffs her late game but that's not what she needed. The machete cost increase not really helping her, and her clear became actually slower since she doesn't benefit from the 10 damage.

why you refuse to buff her clearing? why she need to struggle in a PvE and not in PvP in a moba game like league. change her passive to something actually usefull, move damage from her E to her W, fix the range of her W so it actually deal damage to champions that are out of her aa range, buff her base movement speed! she's riding a boar, why pantheon yasuo and many other champs can move faster than a boar?! JUST DO SOMETHING, she needs it, she doesn't deserve such a trash early game

Hi, plat III sej main here.

Sej is fine. Her early clear is fine, and the new jungle item is a HUGE sej buff. She actually has a decent early game too. Lots of people don't know this, but you can outplay Lee Sins and win duels early game (Did you know her Q cancels the 2nd half of Lee's Q if you time it right?).

What are your runes/masteries? What do you buy level 1? Machete and 5 pots? What's your ability combo for clearing?

I've seen a lot of people complaining about Sej's early game, but I've actually seen improvements in my play since the new patch and am super happy with Riot and the changes. Happy to share some knowledge if it helps you enjoy the sej buffs too.

The changes to Ancient Golem is a big buff for not just Sejuani, but any utility jungler with a slow early clear. I'm not sure where you are getting this idea that it doesn't help.

She also has something that most other, faster champions do not have: some of the best slows, a knock-back gap closer and a great ult for locking down entire teams. You can't have it all...And she's still faster than over 60 of the champions in League, including Malphite, Maokai, Thresh, Braum, Blitz, Leona, Nautilus and most ranged characters.

Sure she's not perfect, and not really popular either, but she does fine in the current meta. Not the best, but fine.
