At what point do people stop heckling for elo? What is a respectable tier?

I'm a LB onetrick. After the last round of LB Nerfs, I fell down hard and was heckled constantly "Lol you have like 300 lb games and ur in silver kys". I just got my way back into mid gold after getting used to the nerfs, and now its "Lol you have 400 lb games and ur in gold kys".

Basically, I don't think there's anything wrong with gold - My goal is plat, but I don't see why one would be heckled for being in gold.. but either way, when do you think is a respectable level?

if you're lower than me you're bad

if you're higher than me you're probably boosted and you're bad

im pretty sure mid plat is where people stop bringing in your elo.thats my goal anyway since its a pain that i only play normals and i did ranked when i first got level 30. and got bronze of course and everyone just likes to bring that up even tho my normalls mmr is low diamond

it should stop around mid gold. at that point you're better than the average ranked player population, so people really shouldnt be talking shit

The level where they grow a pair.

People who compare internet levels... I'd hoped I'd be long dead by the time we took it with a grain of discussion.

If you want to climb play a simpler champion. Players berating you happens every game. I am low plat, but I think Gold is pretty respectable.

It's never going to stop. The type of people who heckle will always find a reason to heckle you.

It's hilarious when people that are in the same game as you---matched with you (meaning they have roughly your same MMR) are berating you for your rank.

The irony is that most of the time the people that do that are lower rank than you.

Granted, I do find it funny when a Bronze V player calls someone "trash", but really if you're trash talking someone on your team for being bad then you should look in the mirror.

It doesn't stop. You can be Diamond 4 and people will still shit on you in ranked for not being higher. Eventually you realize that the person has no concept of actual game knowledge and has to fall back on authority title (rank) to judge someone. "OMG I BEAT A DIAMOND MIDLANER AND IM BRONZE LOOOOOOOOL!", meanwhile that Diamond player who almost never touches mid and decided to start learning the role (in normals).

I honestly think Tiers and Divisions do not make the best representation of a person's potential. It gives players a false sense of entitlement, assumption, and misuse of "skill" as a form of reasoning.

At what point are you deemed a good Leblanc? Because you're Plat? Diamond? Master???? It's a no-win scenario because they have already made up their mind and what they think of you.

My personal take on "when are you good": You're a good with a champion when you can win your own lane almost always, and continue to maintain influence throughout the game.
