Why is Vel Koz better than Lux?
It seems like they have similar kits but Vel does so much better at the role... probably cause he has a better combo? I just think these lux buffs aren't going to fix her problems.

Lux has no problems. Check your privilege.
Vel Koz is consistent.
Lux is far more situational and her success largely depends on team composition and the absence of specific counters. Keep in mind that vel koz can deal a large amount of true damage as well.
velkoz does high damage to everyone, tanks included.
lux usually focuses on squishies
Lux has better pick potential + a massive lategame teamshield - neither is specifically better, they have similar kits but each have different peaks and cons
Because his skillshots are harder to hit. Not a freelo lux shit.
