How do I become better for next season

So I was pretty depressed. I was only 1 win away from Silver 5...but then I lost. But looking forward, my goal for season 7 is at least gold 5. My biggest question is...what do I do? I worked so hard all season long watching pros, practicing my mechanics ect...but the climb out of bronze was horrible. How do I get to the "next level"
