Is Ahri the easiest champion in the game?
title
title
That title belongs to Garen.
Atleast Garen has to get in melee range to do anything.

Atleast Garen has to get in melee range to do anything.
Doesn't make him difficult.
Not difficult but harder than Ahri.
From your username of "Buff Jax please" I assume you think that Jax takes skill?
No mechanical skill but from a game knowledge and decision standpoint he is pretty hard. There is a huge gap in winrate between first time Jax' and Jax mains.
Pretty sure Hashinshin disproves that little theory of yours on Jax.
Pretty sure he is higher rank than you can ever dream of.
Also if you watch his stream you would actually realize he is very smart at trading, pushing and wave management. But the silver kids just see a guy complaining cause he gets ganked and assume he is bad.
I don't care that he is a higher rank than me, He is a Jax main that made it to high elo with a reputation of over extending and feeding. Tell me how many other champions you can consistently do that with and still climb.
Yeah you are like those guys who look at his score and think "omg this guy is feeding"......there is a reason he was Challenger in Season 4, 5 and now 6. You are probably one of those kids that think KDA matters in this game.
Yeah...no. He averages like 10+ deaths a game, and every high elo junlger knows how reckless he plays which is why he gets "camped."
He isn't benefiting his team by having that many deaths basically every game. What happens is he gets carried by a combination of jax just automatically becoming relevant after a certain point in the game, and the other 4 high elo players who have learned to carry feeders.
All in all I would say Jax doesn't rank that high in skill if the highest elo Jax player is a known feeder.
His ranked stats on Jax: Season 1: 157 games 6.1 kills 6 deaths 4.5 assists per game Season 2: 463 games 6.1 kills 5.3 deaths 3.7 assists per game Season 3: 487 games 6.4 kills 6.2 deaths 3.8 assists per game Season 4: 555 games 6.7 kills 6.1 deaths 3.8 assists per game Season 5: 860 games 6.3 kills 6.3 deaths 4.1 assists per game Season 6: 61 games 6.3 kills 6.4 deaths 3.3 assists per game
Average Jax score in plat+ ranked (http://champion.gg/champion/Jax/Top): 5.74 kills 6.8 deaths 4.62 assists per game.
Your argument is full of nonsense and lies....he dies less than the average Jax player and is not even close to 10 deaths per game...you must be pretty retarded to call him feeder.
Besides, KDA is absolutely meaningless.
You must be a hashinshin alt or something.
There are no high elo players that are happy about seeing him on their team. Coincidentally pretty much every high elo jungler is ecstatic to see him on the enemy team. You don't get the reputation he has in high elo for being beneficial to your team.
And once again, name me another champion you can get this kind of a reputation for and still climb. Jax is apparently one. I can't think of any other high elo players, one trick or not, that allies are so disappointed to see on their team.
No I just don't like when someone tries to use lies to win an argument.
Irelia Carries U thinks he is a good player and duos with him, Fabbbyyy called him a good player on his stream too. He doesn't have the reputation of being a feeder, the reason why he is not liked by some high elo players is because he usually complains alot and often calls out his jungler. Dude has reached challenger for 3 straight seasons play ALOT of different toplaners outside of Jax and you sit here and try to tell people he has no game knowledge and is a feeder. Absolutely ridiculous.
It was an exaggeration and you know it. Your just pretending to be offended by it because you know what I'm saying is true. I never said he has no game knowledge, I'm just questioning it since he has a reputation of over extending and feeding enemy junglers.
The people that get paid to play on a professional team and rely on solo que for training don't think Hashinshin is a good top laner or enjoys having him as a part of their team.
"the reason why he is not liked by some high elo players is because he usually complains alot and often calls out his jungler." This is just a hilarious excuse coming from somebody in EUW. Every body at the top of the ladder does this type of shit.
Now you are just lying again...my original post stated that Jax requires game knowledge and decision making to which you replied that Hashinshin would disprove that....now you are telling me you never said Hashinshin has no game knowledge.....
I said hashinshin has poor game knowledge, that's why every high elo jungler know to camp Hashinshin because he is gonna over extend and play overly aggressive and feed early. That's literally his reputation. And not only that, but thats been his reputation for a long time and he still does it.
The reason I said it disproves your theory of needing game knowledge on jax is because there is a high elo jax main that is known to play bad early and fall really behind. What other champions could you consistently play that bad to earn yourself a reputation for and still be in high elo.
Ever thought it might have something to do with Jax being super weak early game and basically having not a single easy lane matchup?
And yet still he trades so aggressively in this time, and over extend so often that he has earned him self a reputation for it. Every high elo jungler knows "camp" Hashinshin's lane because he is stuck in his ways.
I don't know of any other challenger player OTP or not that can get themselves a reputation like that. I think it has something to do with the champion more so than with the player, because how else would some one remain in high elo when they contentiously play right into a champions weakness like that.

Okay, I don't like Ahri much at all, but she's definitely not easier than Jax. Jax's kit is so straightforward, it's a joke. Essentially, you twirl stick, jump, stun, then bam bam bam. The only hard part about him is deciding when to go in (which is usually most situations).
Ahri is extremely annoying, and just stupid to fight against in lane, but she is a lot harder. Her q isn't that long ranged, and using her ult to go in to charm someone puts her in danger. And if she uses ult to escape, there goes a lot of her damage, and her tool to allow her to hit e accurately. She is more mobile than I'd like, but there are methods to outplay her. She's just like Jax where she has to decide when to engage, but she also has skillshots to hit while also being much squishier.
Jax is just a statcheck champ where if he has better stats than you, he'll just jump in and kill you. So no, Ahri is not easier than Jax and never will be.
Ahri has exactly 0 decisions to make...what are you even talking about?
Difference in winrate for first time Jax and Jax mains is almost 15% starting at 42% for people who haven't played him. Meanwhile Ahri has a 51% winrate for people who pick her for the first time in ranked....yeah very hard champ.
Jax has not a single easy lane matchup (Ranger is the only lane he shouldn't lose against), he can be shutdown extremely easy, has no sustain, can be shutdown extremely easy and you have to be smart at the game if you wanna have an impact on the game with him. Ahri is extremely forgiving, she is super safe, has very few bad matchups and even if you mess up you can still win games for your team just by hitting an E from the fog of war.

And if Ahri is playing where she's super safe, she's contributing hardly anything to a team, except perhaps waveclear. Jax can, at least, splitpush like a beast. Plus everyone who is anyone is playing him in the jungle now anyway (where starting Jax's have a 50.35% winrate, very close to first time Ahri's at 51.01%), so his laning being subpar is not as great of an argument.
Look, I don't think Ahri is that difficult to play. I don't even like her and hate facing her in lane. But that still doesn't make me biased towards the fact that Jax is just easier to play (his entire kit is point and click, statcheck combos).
And the only way Ahri (or any champ) can have 0 decisions to make is if they afk'ed at fountain.
Jax is still played top 55% of the time compared to 44% in the jungle...but yeah nice attempt of trying to get away with a lie. And even in the jungle there is a higher gap in winrate between first time Jax and Jax mains than for Ahri. So scratch that argument.
You obviously have never played Jax or you wouldn't be talking nonsense like this...he has alot of very hard matchups where the correct timing of his abilities is extremely important. I don't know where the idea comes from that a champions needs skillshot to be hard to play.....mechanically hard =/= hard to play.
[{quoted}](name=Buff Jax please,realm=EUW,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=ZkNGXaRw,comment-id=000500000001000000000000,timestamp=2016-02-08T15:42:28.559+0000)

That just means 55% play him in a lacklustre position... that's not my problem
And the gap is like a difference of 1%..... oh boy the skill.
In the end, this all stemmed from you saying Ahri is the easiest champ to play. Which she isn't too hard to play decently. But she still takes skill, and definitely is not the easiest champ in this game.
No.
my money is on Warwick being the easiest
Warwick has to make decisions...just because a champ doesn't require any mechanical skills doesn't mean they are easy to play.
Not even close.
[deleted]
at least she has to land her charm to do anything
Not at all lol.
I mean, I don't think ahri is "easy" I think she's a safe play. I think her ults insanely short cool down gives her ability to escape way too easily But easy? Nah, there's easier mechanical champions by far in the mid lane. Now is she easy as in getting in between those 9 tails? I hope so.
"mechanical" difficulty doesn't say alot about who hard a champ is to play. And Ahri is not even mechanically difficult. 2 easy skillshots.
I vote Lux.
Even complete newbs score 54% winrate with her.
[{quoted}](name=Vistha Kai,realm=EUNE,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=ZkNGXaRw,comment-id=0002,timestamp=2016-02-07T15:40:48.018+0000)

Maybe because buffs simplify champions.
I think that's more indicative of her strength than her difficulty. She's strong enough that you don't have to be particularly good to do well, but that's more of a function of her numbers than her mechanics.
The fact you only need to aim your main poke tool in the general direction of your enemy to ensure hit, is hardly numbers, though.
Learning Lux at a basic level (hit your E, hit your Q, etc) is pretty easy, and since she's so strong right now, that basic level of mastery is good enough to secure wins. That said, there are more advanced mechanics (micromanaging your passive and understanding when it's safe to go in and pop it, positioning to land multi-carry ults, using your shield to get the full value out of the refresh) that mean Lux takes a fair amount of practice to play at the highest level. Something like Vladimir, who can by summarized by the following flowchart, is probably a better example. The only real mechanic on Vlad is dodging crap with your W. http://imgur.com/cCULzex
Yeah Lux is on the same level.
vlad imo is the easiest champ. the champ has infinate sustain the ability to become untargetable and scales really hard into the late game with a multi target zed ult more or less.
it's zed.
Ahri takes more skill then people give her credit for. She is squishy as heck and her mana costs are CRAZY early. Not to mention shes bad against assassins that will kill her in .25 seconds.
no these people are all wrong malz is the easiest champ in the game with his safe farming among other things
Malzahar's farming it not safe, it auto pushes the wave leaving him very vulnerable to ganks. Any decent jungle will come and pick up the free 300 gold.
I've never. Had that problem max e first and get yo free farm
First of all you are playing at a shit elo where no one takes advantage of champion's weaknesses and second you were 6 14 with Malzahar last season in ranked which is a winrate of 30%...doesn't sound like he is that easy.
She doesn't take much skill but probably more skill than like Annie.
No Annie is harder than Ahri.
shes not soraka-garen easy but shes pretty easy
Le Sigh...
Every time I see someone saying this on the boards, I cringe. There's one ability(which is narrow and must be lined up correctly to hit) which opens her combo. One. That is easily missable. Although admittedly she doesn't take that much skill, she certainly isn't the easiest champ in the game.
Ahri has some above-newbie mechanics and tricks such as qing behind you for movement speed, has her most important abilities as a skillshot, and her kit allows for interesting counterplay for both teams(an abused ahri ulting and getting a lucky charm, or her stuff being able to be deflected and her abilities rather straight forward)
